FIELD: transport engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to containers for storage and transportation of liquid-propellant rocket engine. Proposed container has frame with cross load-bearing support secured on frame and attachment units with rocket engine to be transported installed on cross load-bearing support. Rocket engine is cantilever-mounted on cross load-bearing support in container. Cross load-bearing support is made in form of transportation ring. Container is furnished with device for mounting and fixing transportation ring on frame in vertical position or at tilting from vertical through angle not exceeding 10°. Fastening of transportation ring frame is provided by turnbuckles. Frame and transportation ring are furnished with members for attaching them to end sections of turnbuckles.
EFFECT: provision of minimum vertical overall dimension of device and minimum mass of container together with fitted-in liquid-propellant rocket engine for transportation and storage.
