FIELD: textile industry.
SUBSTANCE: textured thread has at least one or two kinds of ornamental thread which is two-component composite thread comprising single filaments having linear density of 0.001-0.3 denier after separating or extracting of extractable component, said ornamental threads being wound around core thread, such as thermoplastic complex thread. On the surface of textured thread there are 2-350 loops per meter of length of two-component composite thread, said composite thread having length of at least 1.0 m. Over 95% of said loops are 1.0-2.5 m long. Method involves manufacturing textured thread in pneumatic texturing nozzle with the use of compressed air fed under pressure of 6-16 kgf/cm2, providing thermal processing of said thread in hollow heater at temperature of 130-210 C in the state wherein advancing extent is 0-(-8)%; winding thread in the state wherein advancing extent is (-2)-(-12)%.
EFFECT: improved quality and excellent simulation of chamois leather fabric properties of material produced from textured thread.
