SUBSTANCE: hygienic tampon contains body of revolution formed by winding fibrous material with thread fixed thereon to remove the tampon. Outside layers' winding density exceeds that of central layers. Fibrous material is composed of threads. Central layers are alternate layers of different-structure threads. When manufacturing hygienic tampon, thread for removing it is secured by drawing it from the end of the point of winding through internal cavity of tampon body, when the latter is displaced from shaft, and fixing it in the cavity by knotting.
EFFECT: increased absorbing capacity of tampons and productivity in manufacture thereof.
