FIELD: plastic working of metals, possibly processes for asymmetrical die rolling with use of eccentric rolls.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of plastic deforming of metal by means of rolling surfaces of eccentric rolls performing simultaneous rotation. According to invention metal is deformed in mode of cyclically changing rolling radius of cross sections of eccentric rolls along their rotation axes while keeping constant gap value between generatrices of rolls in plane of rolled piece outlet. Eccentricity value e of rolls is set depending upon mean value of rolling diameter d of rolls in range: e = (0.002 - 0.040)d. Invention provides lowered resistance of metal against plastic deforming due to creation of cyclically changing deformations caused by plastic shear of layers simultaneously along three mutually normal planes of worked metal.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of method, improved quality of microstructure of ready rolled pieces.
