FIELD: non-ferrous metallurgy; sloping refining furnaces of converter type with gas exhaust duct.

SUBSTANCE: proposed converter gas duct includes cooled cover of gas duct and cooler and cooled gas exhaust duct consisting of vertical, horizontal and inclined lines interconnected in succession. Cooled cover of gas duct is inclined and is provided with loading port, burners and gas exhaust port above which vertical cooled gas exhaust line is located; plane of surface of inlet hole of this line is located at angle relative to plane of surface of cooled cover of gas duct; inclined cooled gas exhaust duct is connected with cooled cooler.

EFFECT: maximum after-burning of organic agents and oxidation of metal dust contained in exhaust gases.
