FIELD: electrical engineering and measurement technology; nuclear magnetic resonance devices and instruments.
SUBSTANCE: proposed magnetic system has plane-parallel plates and side plates connected to the latter and placed in closed magnetic circuit in the form of frame. Equal-size solid plane-parallel plates are made of magnetically soft material. Side plates are assembled of equal-size permanent-magnet wafers and magnetically soft wafers. Plane-parallel plates have main and additional through holes to receive expanding supports jointing all plates into single segment. Solid plane-parallel plate of preceding segment is joined with next one through expanding support to form next segments. Installed at sides of each segment are radiator fins that rigidly fix segments together to form single magnetic unit in the form of constant-field rectangular parallelepiped; projections are provided inside each segment along edges and sides of solid plane-parallel plates with air gaps in-between accommodating magnetic-field corrector and heat exchanger with chamber for nuclear magnetic resonance sensors and thermocouple sensors. Heat exchanger carrying casing and chamber is mounted in heat insulator and its top and bottom parts accommodate optical waveguides for passing optical and infrared radiation. Heat-exchanger hollow cylinder accommodates reflecting mirror and liquid test tube is installed on its bottom.
EFFECT: simplified design, reduced size, facilitated maintenance, enhanced homogeneity of magnetic field.
