FIELD: devices for generation of uniform direct magnetic field, in particular, in compact magnetic systems for nuclear magnetic resonance and PET spectroscopy. SUBSTANCE: device has two magnetic plates which are mounted in closed magnetic circuit, are made from magnetically soft material and are positioned in parallel to provide air gap between them. Said plates are bladed from rigidly connected permanent magnets, each of which has corresponding magnetic momentum, which is calculated, and position in plate depending on its value. On one side, magnetic plates are rigidly connected to magnetic circuit, in particular, using mounting plate, on another side to pole piece which is shaped as plate, width is not greater than 0.05 of its length. Initial magnets are arranged in order of increased magnetic momentum from center to periphery. Ratio of magnetic moments of central and extreme magnets is in range of 0.99-0.65. EFFECT: decreased weight and size, increased region of uniform magnetic field, increased intensity of magnetic field, simplified design due to elimination of correcting coils, facilitated use due to easy access to gap. 4 cl, 4 dwg
