FIELD: hydraulic and reclamation construction, particularly bank consolidation structures to protect river banks, dam slopes and other structures.
SUBSTANCE: bank-protection structure comprises spacing members made as protective covering filled with filler and provided with wires. The spacing members are united in triangle assemblies by twisting spacing member wire ends around transversal reinforcement bars so that triangular or trapezoid prism nodes are created. Prism cross-section is formed as a number of triangular or trapezoid trusses covered with net from outer sides thereof. Structure interior is filled with stone. Triangular or trapezoid frame is installed at an angle to flow direction or is transversal thereto and abut river bottom by one face. Prism cross-section dimensions increase towards structure head or end.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of river bank protection against erosion and extended service life of the structure.
