OPEN-ENDED TRANSVERSE BANK PROTECTION STRUCTURE Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC E02B3/12

Abstract RU 2329353 C1

FIELD: building.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to hydrotechnic and ameliorative construction of bank protective structures in erodible river channels, water stop slopes and similar structures. The bank protection structure includes factory-made elements. Transverse sections of the bank protection structure present a system of parallel unchangeable supports consisting of hollow triangular blocks with hoops on their tops. The blocks are pivotally connected in triangular supports by means of loops fixed around transverse fitment and forming units. The structure is installed at the angle or transverse to the direction of flow current, one of its surfaces being on the river bottom. The hollow triangular blocks are made of reinforced concrete.

EFFECT: improved effectiveness and reliability of protection of bank river channels from erosion and increased durability of bank protection structure.
