FIELD: building, particularly scaffold production.
SUBSTANCE: vertical scaffold member comprises pipe section and star-like member welded to the pipe section and forming holders to connect horizontal transversal member ends. Star-like member is formed of metal strip provided with depressions shaped as dihedral angles with rounded ridges created by metal strip stamping. The stamped strip is bent to draw together sides of two depressions formed from both sides of flat strip area. At the same time rounded ridges are located around cylindrical outline. Strip ends are welded with each other, ready star-like member is installed on pipe cut and welded thereto by intermittent annular welds.
EFFECT: reduced production time and decreased costs.
