FIELD: communications engineering; cellular mobile code-division multiple access communication systems.

SUBSTANCE: proposed signal processing method provides for combined time division and joint detection processes; it can be used for user hardware to solve problem of unmatched characteristics of communication channels between user hardware and base station and of channel between base station and user hardware thereby enabling multiplexing at single frequency. Received signal is retrieved during plurality of moments in time domain, pulse response of space channel is estimated for each data sample of plurality of retrieved data, plurality of matrices are obtained for each received estimate of space channel pulse response, and estimates of source data transferred are evaluated in compliance with sample and matrix data. Proposed method can be also used at base station.

EFFECT: enhanced signal level at diversity reception, enlarged functional capabilities.
