FIELD: shipbuilding; propellers for watercraft of rather small displacement.
SUBSTANCE: proposed propeller has profiled air intake with inlet and outlet holes, water scoop and accelerator located in air intake body and provided with at least two convergent nozzles which are hermetically interconnected. Each nozzle is coaxially introduced into other in way of motion of air forming cavity (cavities) between nozzles. At least one cavity is provided with air ionization units for ionization of air in cavity and motion of it in accelerator; air is ejected from outside medium through inlet hole. Inlet valves admitting air to cavity are mounted on wall. At least one cavity is communicated with units for delivery of air inside cavities and suction of it from them which is necessary for control of propeller power. Air intake is provided with water-cooled cylinders. Cavity is provided with pressure sensor. Inlet and exit nozzles are provided with flow velocity sensors supplying information to propeller control unit.
EFFECT: reduced consumption of fuel; increased speed; enhanced efficiency.
