FIELD: mechanical engineering; multifuel engines.
SUBSTANCE: proposed multifuel uprated diesel engine has cylinder block with crankcase, valve timing mechanism mechanically coupled with crank mechanism, air preparation system with regenerator, air cyclone coupled with exhaust system, fuel, cooling, lubrication, starting and control system. Proposed engine includes main two-stroke engine and additional two-stroke engine. Cylinder of each engine contains two intake channels arranged symmetrically one over the other at a distance relative to each other whose intake holes are connected with air charger. Exhaust channel is made coaxially to intake channel at opposite side of cylinder. Exhaust hole of exhaust channel communicates with atmosphere through muffler. Stop in form of plate rounded off from front is installed in lower part of cylinder. Hole is made in middle part of cylinder in which lock is fitted. Said lock is essentially cylindrical rod loaded by spring. Nozzle of additional engine is installed in middle part of cylinder, being connected with outlet union of additional high-pressure pump connected to pressure and drain main lines of fuel system. Moreover, outer piston with sealing members is fitted in cylinder. Piston in made in form of cup turned upside down and closed in lower part by cover in form of ring with slot provided with intake and outlet ports in middle part, hole for lock in upper part and L-shaped channel in bottom part, one end of which opens inside piston and the other comes to its side surface. Hole made on lower part of piston is connected with longitudinal slot. Moreover, inner piston with sealing members is installed inside outer piston, said inner piston being connected with crank of crankshaft by connecting rod and provided with cross channel in middle part in which round cylindrical lock is fitted loaded by spring and engaging with hole connected with longitudinal slot of outer piston. Combustion chamber of additional engine is formed between inner surface of crown of outer piston, its side walls and crown of inner piston. Said chamber communicates with nozzle of additional engine through L-shaped channels of outer piston and inclined channel of cylinder. Cylinder is closed by cover with exhaust channel provided with exhaust valve. Exhaust channel is connected through distributing cock with air cyclone and muffler, and exhaust valve is mechanically coupled with camshaft. Crown of outer piston, walls and cover of cylinder form combustion chamber of main engine. Nozzle is secured on combustion chamber of main engine. Nozzle is connected with outlet union of main high-pressure pump connected to pressure and drain lines of fuel system. Cooling jacket of air cyclone is connected with regenerator of air charger by pipelines.
EFFECT: increased power output of multifuel engine.
