FIELD: technology for authentication of mobile device, which includes mobile device and network element in communication system.
SUBSTANCE: network element may represent a call status control function. If network element detects an incorrect event, connected to mobile device S3, network element decreases registration duration for mobile device S4 and sends a notification about repeated authentication S5 to mobile device. Incorrect event may be, for example: a wrong authentication response; incorrect action of mobile device; session, exceeding maximal time; traffic generation, exceeding maximum limit; or depletion of credit. Mobile device is unregistered, if repeated authentication of mobile device fails during decreased registration effect time S8, and is registered again, if authentication of mobile device during decreased registration effect time S10 is successful.
EFFECT: after repeated registration, registration for mobile device remains valid for longer.
