FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed motor that can be used in electric drives of general industrial mechanisms to maintain steady adjustable rotation speed within comprehensive range has circular frame accommodating two fixed stators carrying single common armature winding and field winding. Active conductors of each coil of armature winding are placed in slots of one stator and spaced through pole pitch from slots of other stator. Common armature winding coils are switched over by means of commutator fixed in butt-end part of motor. Commutator brush gear is rigidly joined with rotor shaft; the latter has two sets of commutating poles, each carrying winding connected in series with armature winding through two revolving slip rings and fixed brushes.
EFFECT: facilitated manufacture, reduced cost, enhanced specific power output and torque.
