CONTACT-FREE DC ENGINE PROVIDED WITH DISC ROTOR Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H02K29/06 H02K29/00

Abstract RU 2319279 C2

FIELD: electric mechanical engineering.

SUBSTANCE: contact-free dc engine with disc rotor can be used in electric drives of industrial mechanism of general application, in particular, as basic part of contact-free dc engines of transportation vehicles. Contact-free dc engine with disc rotor has stator made of set of separate ferrous U-shaped rods being not in contact with each other, toroid excitation winding and sic rotor. Stator is made of set of U-shaped rods, which rods are disposed symmetrical in relation to ferrous poles of disc rotor. Base of rotor is made of nonferrous material and it is tightly connected with shaft. End parts of radial oriented U-shaped rods are fixed in nonferrous edge plates of stator. Sections of winding of core are put in through grooves among ferrous rods which have to be teeth of any module of core. Commutation of currents of sections for signals of position detector is carried out by semiconductor switch.

EFFECT: improved overload capacity of engine; higher speed of operation; reduced weight of disc rotor.
