FIELD: sanitary facilities.
SUBSTANCE: absorbing item, namely, sanitary towel has part, which gains extra rigidity to item. The part intends for giving three-dimensional shape to item during application. Rigidity-improving unit is at flat position before usage of item. It passes along longitudinal direction along perineum part and, at least, for some distance along front part. Rigidity-improving unit has thickness M in transient area between perineum part and front part, which transient area is adapted to distance between tendons of user's muscles at both sides of perineum in user's groin area; transient area equals to 15-45 vv. Rigidity-improving unit is made with rigidity being sufficient to provide counteraction to unwilling formation of cross-lateral folds in it. Protrusion-forming member, made of elastic material, is disposed under rigidity-supplying unit. Protrusion-forming member is disposed for formation of protruding-up part at that side which intends for fitting to user's body. Protruding-up part is disposed in such a way that it takes its place in front of genital organs after item is placed onto user's body.
