FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in manufacture of metal strip designed for making of window accessories. According to invention, in proposed plant used for manufacture of metal strip pickling device is made in form of separate section, and continuous cold-rolling mill contains at least four-stand tandem group, pneumatic grinding device, straightening device for calibrating, and surface wiping device. In process of manufacture of metal strip from rolled bar, material, after pickling, is fed into continuous mill and is subjected to flattening in several passes, mechanical treatment of surface, rolling and calibrating. After calibration at final pass, strip is fed for cleaning from dirt and lubricant into wiping device. Light annealing is carried out, if necessary, after first pass. Invention makes is possible to manufacture strip of required thickness from rolled bars, for instance, wire, and making of uniform structure relief on surface.
EFFECT: enlarged operating capabilities, improved quality of strip surface.
