FIELD: microwave electronic devices.
SUBSTANCE: proposed M-type microwave device that has coaxially disposed energy output is characterized in high-power electromagnetic fields aiding in transfer of electrons from interaction area to region between internal and external conductors of coaxial-line energy output. This causes electron acceleration and set-up of secondary electron emission from energy output components. Disposed at inlet of coaxial section between external and internal conductors of coaxial-line energy output is disk whose diameter is equal to or greater than that of coaxial-line energy output external conductor, its function being to prevent transfer of electrons to area between external and internal conductors of coaxial-line energy output.
EFFECT: enhanced output power of device; ability of preventing damage to and failure of energy output components and vacuum seal.
