FIELD: mechanical engineering; manufacture of helicoidal screw feeders for farming and food-processing industry.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in distributing on shaft open circular sectors forming blades located at definite pitch and welding them. First circular sectors are welded in rectilinear sections forming continuous spiral which is mounted on shaft and first circular sector of spiral is tacked-up to beginning of shaft at point lying on its inner circumference. Distribution of circular sectors on shaft is performed beginning with first sector by imparting rotary motion to shaft at constant speed and at maintenance of perpendicularity of helicoid generatrix to axis of shaft in zone of present distribution of screw feeder blade along shaft. Then, blade is welded to shaft at point located at distance of 0.8-1.8 of preset pitch from zone of present distribution. Upon completion of distribution of welded circular sectors, remaining part of screw feeder blade is welded to shaft.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure; enhanced accuracy of repetition of articles.
