FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to off-gas filtration. Proposed apparatus comprises swirling chamber made up of cylindrical shell arranged between two parallel vertical walls with central axial bore. Main and auxiliary guides are arranged on cylindrical shell inner surface. Outlet branch pipes are arranged on circular arc opposite the inlet. Cylindrical louver-type deflector is arranged between parallel vertical walls and axial bores made up of parallel rings with through square holes made at acute angle to tangent line to receive metal strips that make said louvers. Said rings are spaced apart with preset pitch along axis of axial bores. Narrow rings are rigidly jointed to two extreme face rings from outside to joint cylindrical louver-type deflector inside said cylindrical shell. Total area of deflector inlet is 1.5-2 times larger than that of axial bores.
EFFECT: higher reliability, lower costs.
