FIELD: manufacture of building materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manufacturing artificial light aggregates for concrete, e.g. haydite. Raw mix contains 84-95% of clayey material, 4-6% of oil slime comprised of 38-45% organic fraction and 42-45% mineral residue including 7.60-14.4% Fe2O3 and 18.2-42.40% CaO, and, additionally, 1-10% of surfactant, which is diesel fuel alkalization product waste with 0.325% free NaOH, 7.680% naphthenic soaps, and 91.995% water.
EFFECT: reduced content of oil slime without impairment of characteristics of manufactured light aggregate.
