FIELD: geophysics.
SUBSTANCE: tilt inclinator can be used for registration of tilts and seismic oscillations of the Earth's crust and of engineering structures. Two-coordinate string tilt inclinator has case, inertial body in form of two conform vessels and two vertical axial rods attached to outer and inner vessels. Room between walls of two vessels is filled with mercury. First rod is connected with differential string converter. Its end is attached to case' cap through flexible control-rod. The second strain converter is made in form of differential capacitive converter, where rotor plate made in form of metal disc and is attached to second axial rod at direct angle to it and is connected with case through two pairs of hard springs brought apart along two horizontal coordinates. Four pairs of stator plates are disposed symmetrically at both sides from rotor plate. Four-faced metal prism is attached to lower part of external vessel. Metal prism is pressed against two pairs of piezoelectric elements with electrodes at sides. Electrodes are connected with constant voltage source through switch for release of vessel when the vessel is turned on.
