SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with developing preparations for improving venous circulation and microcirculation. The composition for improving microcirculation and preventing thrombophlebitis contains the extract of horse chestnut, chitosan and essential oils of different plants upon emulsion foundation. The suggested composition could be applied as an additional preparation for external application in case of disorders in capillary and venous circulation of different etiology, at varicosis, phlebitis, thrombophlebitis and posttraumatic disorders of microcirculation. The composition favors the quickest reconstruction of microcirculation after contusions of soft tissues, increases venous tonicity and interrupts inflammatory process in a venous wall.
