FIELD: powder metallurgy, namely powdered metal composition on base of iron for pressing at elevated temperatures.
SUBSTANCE: powder composition for warm pressing contains iron base powder and powered lubricant including amide type oligomer of next formula: D-Cma-B-A-B-Cmb-D where D - -H, COR, CNHR, R -linear of branched aliphatic or aromatic group with 2 - 21 C atoms; C - -NH(CH2)n CO-; B - amino group or carbonyl; alkylen having 4 - 16 C atoms and optimally up to 4 O atoms; ma, mb - integer number, 1 - 10; n - integer number, 5 - 11. Sintered article is produced from powder composition by pressing in preliminarily heated apparatus and sintering at temperature more than 1050°C.
EFFECT: enhanced quality of articles.
