FIELD: apparatuses for gas-flame treating of metals, namely designs of valves for gas-flame cutters.
SUBSTANCE: valve of cutter for gas-oxygen cutting includes cylindrical housing 2, seat 5, inlet 3 and outlet 4 ducts, valve unit 6, rod 7, flywheel 13, intermediate member 9 rigidly joined with housing, means 11 for preventing rod cranking at rotation of flywheel. Valve unit and rod are mounted in cavity of housing with possibility of translation motion relative to seat. Nut 14 is mounted on flywheel. Outer and inner threads of said nut engage with thread 12 of member 9 and with thread of rod. Means for preventing cranking of rod at rotation of flywheel is in the form of polyhedral turning in cavity of housing and reciprocal polygon in rod placed in said turning. Valve unit is rigidly secured to end of rod. Thread 12 of member 9 has pitch exceeding that of thread 8 of rod 7; both threads have the same direction.
EFFECT: possibility for providing smooth, accurate, quick control of gas emission.
