FIELD: space engineering; onboard temperature control systems of communication satellites provided with service system module and payload module.
SUBSTANCE: proposed temperature control system includes closed liquid loop with heat-transfer agent consisting of service system module and payload module sub-loops. Service system module sub-loop includes heat-transfer agent flow regulator, liquid manifold of thermostatted panel with service system module instruments, volume compensator and electric pumping unit; all these units are interconnected by means of pipe lines. First outlet of flow regulator is connected with inlet of main radiator and second outlet is connected with bypass line. Inlet and outlet of service system module sub-loop are provided with hydraulic joints which are coupled with outlet and inlet hydraulic joints of liquid sub-loop of payload module which are connected in their turn with outlet and inlet of liquid manifold of thermostatted panel with payload module instruments. Besides that, payload module is provided with additional radiator of service system module sub-loop whose inlet and outlet are connected via additional inlet and outlet hydraulic joints with outlet of additional radiator and bypass line, respectively.
EFFECT: possibility of building new more powerful satellite with no re-arrangement; reduced usage of materials.
