FIELD: aeronautical and space-system engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method can be used in structures of flying vehicles and spacecrafts. Method of connecting items by permanent riveted seam is based upon the fact that for making permanent riveted seams, the components are used which components are made in form of tubular cases having the same length. Rod armatures embrace metal rivets. Tubular cases are disposed in coaxial openings of casing and items of frame and rod armatures are disposed in tubular cases by means of press fit or sliding fit. Before rod armature is placed inside tubular case, antifriction and anticorrosion lubricant is applied onto surfaces of armatures being adjacent. Riveting is made for two steps. At first, preliminary, step any permanent riveting seam to be formed is divided in length by groups of 1-5 items disposed one after another relatively items of frame. Rivets have closing heads. The distance is divided to parts with length L being equal to 10-50 intra-axial distances (steps) t between axes of adjacent rivets and external stresses of casing is released. During second, finishing, step the rivets form closing heads of rivets, disposed at parts of seam between groups of rivets disposed in sequence, which rivets have closing heads which were formed during preliminary step of riveting. Intra-axial sizes of steps t of adjacent rivets and weight Mtc of any tubular case excess external diameter d of any rivet and weight Mra of any rod armature 2-6 and 1,5-4,2 times correspondingly.
EFFECT: improved strength of seam; higher quality of seam.
