FIELD: aircraft manufacture; assembly of thin-walled riveted and bonded-riveted panels. SUBSTANCE: holes are drilled in skeleton parts to form seats for countersunk heads of rivets. In course of riveting, skin is tightened up by means of turnbuckles; tightening-up force is checked against dynamometers.
