FIELD: combustion.
SUBSTANCE: vortex burner comprises housing with inlet and outlet branch pipes. The housing receives arranged in series cylindrical tangential blade swirler with face, unit for fuel supply mounted at the axis of the swirler, and converging nozzle that define the ring passage together with the exhaust branch pipe. The diameter of the exit section of the nozzle is 0.80-0.85 of the diameter of the swirler cross-section. The burner has fan. The exit edge of the nozzle is mounted at the level of the edge of the exhaust branch pipe, and the inlet branch pipe and the housing are axially aligned. The diameter of the unit for fuel supply is 0.25-0.40 of the diameter of the nozzle. The inlet branch pipe and swirler are axially aligned, and the deflector is mounted on the face from the side of the fan.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency and reduced mass and sizes.
