FIELD: ferrous metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: apparatus comprises sintering caps arranged in the horizontal plane to form a ring, accumulating hopper, devices for igniting, sintering burden, and discharging sinter, gas-air ducts, gas discharging chambers, and drives. The apparatus also has hoper with batcher, accumulating hopper provided with two weighing funnels, and two leveling devices made of movable rods with rotating blades. The sintering caps are mounted equidistantly on the rotary members made for permitting synchronous rotation and locking each cap in the space of the accumulating hopper. The angle between the radial generatrices of each rotary member that pass through the vertical axis of the adjacent sintering caps is 72°.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency of sintering.
