FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to iron and steel metallurgy, particularly to process of sintering of agglomerated charge at production of agglomerate for successive melting. The invention suggests continuous methods of charge agglomeration under pressure at descending or ascending currents of a gaseous reagent; under these methods charge is stacked and unloaded at atmospheric air pressure. Agglomeration is carried out simultaneously in two pans, also ignition of charge fuel in the first pan is made by means of heat from an ignition hearth, while further sintering and igniting of charge fuel in the second pan is carried out by means of joining surface of the layer with a base of the layer of the first pan at temperature above dew-point; layers are maintained in a joined state. Further the first pan is detached from the second one and is directed to agglomerate unloading; while the layer in the second pan is kept on sintering.

EFFECT: intensified agglomeration process and upgraded technical, resources saving and ecological results.
