FIELD: rescue facilities.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to device designed for rescuing people in emergency, mainly, for lowering them from high-rise building at fires and in other emergency situations. Proposed device for emergency lowering of man from high-rise building contains support member in form of knapsack with means for fastening on back of man and connected through intermediate diaphragm with parachute in knapsack. Parachute includes inflatable chambers designed to form upper and lower bases of pneumatic skeleton when being inflated and forming elastic skirt forming cone-shaped braking screen when being connected with inflatable chambers. Source of gas is connected with knapsack and it communicates with inflatable chambers by flexible elastic gas lines. Inflatable chambers forming seat gondola are made in form of lower base and posts forming skeleton and communicating with lower base of pneumatic skeleton. Seat gondola is provided with vertical and horizontal upper and lower partitions to form spaces, and holes are made in lower partition. Upper partition is connected with lower base of pneumatic skeleton and with knapsack. Spaces formed by horizontal and vertical partitions can be made in form of honeycombs filled with vacuum-processed porous elastic material.
EFFECT: reduced mass of device by cutting down requirement of gas for its filling, improved efficiency owing to simplified design.
