FIELD: equipment for lengthwise and crosswise motion of tubes used in manufacturing flow line for producing large-diameter welded tubes.

SUBSTANCE: transfer car includes platform, running wheels mounted on platform in pairs with the aid of elongated axles, electric drive unit designed for moving car on rails and joined with one pair of running wheels. According to invention in order to transmit torque to non-driven pair of wheels, transfer car is provided with three sprockets. One of said sprockets is mounted on shaft of driven pair, second sprocket is mounted on shaft of adjacent pair of running wheel at their inner side. Third sprocket is mounted with possibility of changing its position in vertical plane on inner side of one of two frames of platform. All three sprockets are mutually joined through chain.

EFFECT: elimination of negative influence of shaking upon manufacturing process due to prevention of oscillations in vertical plane at motion of car through rail butts or rail gaps.
