FIELD: testing.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test benches for studying the interaction of a rail track with wheelsets of a railway rolling stock. The rotating track simulator is made in the form of a large-diameter metal power ring supported on supporting, support and side rollers. Elastic elements are installed on the inner surface of the power ring, imitating the rigidity of the soil bed and the ballast prism, and the rail bed with all its structural elements is fixed on top of them. If there is no need to study the operation of sleepers and parts fastening rails to them, these elements can be replaced by thinner and lighter elastic spacers with the same rigidity. Also, a platform is installed in the bench, by means of which the investigated trolley is loaded by forces acting from the side of the body. The supporting surface of the platform is made identical to the supporting surface of the body. To simulate the weight and mass characteristics of the body, the platform is loaded with removable weights or by means of hydraulic pulsators.
EFFECT: it becomes possible to investigate the framing of trolleys of different designs into the railway track of various designs, condition and assigned curvature, to explore the service life of wheel sets and various elements of the rail track.
