FIELD: production of electricity conducting materials for various resistors and electric heating devices.
SUBSTANCE: newly introduced in composite electricity conducting material that has ferric oxide, orthophosphoric acid, and siliconized graphite is corundum of fine and coarse fractions with grain size of 0.16 - 32 mm, proportion of ingredients being as follows, mass percent: ferric oxide, 15 - 20; siliconized graphite, 10 - 30; orthophosphoric acid, 10 - 15; corundum, 40 - 60. Prepared compound is subjected to semidry molding and heat treatment at temperature gradually increased to 350 °C followed by seasoning.
EFFECT: enhanced mechanical strength and heat conductivity affording long life for products made of this material.
