FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: manufacturing method of current conductive contact inserts includes mixing of the binder and filler, pressing of the products from the resulting mixture, and its heat treatment. The binder is preliminarily prepared in the ball mill and includes the following components: urotropine, resin, metallic stearate and metal oxides. Mixing of the binder with the filler is carried out in the vibrating mill, where graphite, coke, modified thermal expanded and oxidated graphite, metal powders are used as the filler. At that the homogenization of the components is carried out at the temperature of 140-170°C. Pressing is carried out at the temperature of 140-170°C, specific pressure 300-600 kgf/cm2 with the exposure of 2-4 min and further heat treatment at the temperature of up to 700-900°C.
EFFECT: contact inserts operating characteristics are increased.
