FIELD: converter engineering; voltage-inverter control systems for ozonizers and gaseous-discharge lamps.
SUBSTANCE: proposed control process for voltage inverter operating into inductive load includes generation of control signals and their alternate supply to rectifier diodes in shaping forward and backward current pulses across load. Instant current between diagonally opposite AC terminals of inverter is measured. Moment of dropping instant current between diagonally opposite AC terminals of inverter is detected. Control signal is supplied and next rectifier diodes are turned on as soon as instant current between diagonally opposite terminals of inverter drops to zero. Desired current level is set. Instant current between diagonally opposite AC terminals of inverter are compared with desired current level. Control signal is picked off and rectifier diodes turned on earlier are turned off as soon as instant current between diagonally opposite AC terminals of inverter exceeds desired current level. The latter is varied for regulating load current.
EFFECT: enhanced operating reliability of inverter.
