FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to eight-axle traction vehicles, namely, to design of running gears, traction force transmitting and wheelset axle radial setting mechanisms. Traction vehicle has frame with automatic couplers 1 and two four-axle bogies 6. Each four-axle bogie consists of two two-axle frameless bogies 8 connected by beam resting on axle-box suspension 9, and frame of body rests on said beams through bolster suspension 5. frame of vehicle is furnished with one central transition bracket 3 with pivot for each four-axle bogie arranged between its two-axle bogies, with crossmember 14 secured on traction bracket for rotation relative to vertical axle and connected by axle-box links or tie-rods 15 with axle boxes or brackets of axle boxes of nearest wheelsets. Axle boxes or their brackets of external wheelsets of each bogie are connected with corresponding axle boxes or their brackets of internal wheelsets by axle-box links or tie-rods provided with hinge-joints filled with grease or liquid lubricant or with rubber-metal joints (silent blocks).
EFFECT: improved dynamic and service characteristics of running gear, reduced overall dimensions of bogies, mass of running gear and vehicle and resistance to running, increased service life.
