FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to eight-axle traction vehicles, namely, to design of running gears, traction force transmitting and wheelset axle radial setting mechanisms. Traction vehicle has body, frame with automatic couplers and two four-axle bogies. Each four-axle bogie consists of two-axle bogies interconnected by beam resting on second stages of their spring suspension, and frame of body rests on said beams through bolster suspension. Frame of body is furnished with one central traction bracket 5 for each four-axle bogie arranged between its two-axle bogies, and frame 9, 10 of each of said two-axle bogies is hinge-connected by tie-rod 25 with central traction bracket. Traction motors are installed on axles of each two-axle bogie with their suspensions arranged in series to side of middle of four-axle bogie or traction vehicle, or opposite to each other to side of middle of each two-axle bogie. Suspensions of traction motors are hinge-connected by their second ends on frames of bogies or on frame of traction vehicle. Traction vehicle is furnished with mechanism for radial setting on wheelset axles in curved sections of track.
EFFECT: reduced overall dimensions of bogies and traction vehicles, dynamic load when negotiating curved sections of track, cross displacements and loads on spring of spring suspension in curved sections of track, provision of radial setting of wheelset axles, reduced wear of wheel tires.
