FIELD: organic compositions.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions comprising resin from aromatic polyester and polyxylylene amide used for making articles with improved transmittance indices. Invention proposes variants of composition comprising resin from aromatic polyester chosen from co-polyalkylene terephthalate comprising from 3 to 15 mole% of links formed by isophthalic acid and/or naphthalene carboxylic acid and polyxylylene amide, preferably, poly-(m-xylylene adipamide) wherein polyamide is dispersed in resin from polyester as domains with average size from 30 to less 200 nm. Composition is prepared by mixing preliminary melted polyester with tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride before mixing polyxylylene amide using the ratio of viscosities of resin smelts from polyester and polyxylylene amide above 1.5:1. The turbidity value of articles made of the proposed composition is less 3%.
EFFECT: improved and valuable properties of composition and articles.
