SUBSTANCE: mentioned composition based on the polyester comprises a resin component comprising from 80 to 98 wt % of polyester resin (A) consisting of units of an aromatic dicarboxylic acid and units of a diol, and from 20 to 2 wt % of the polyamide resin (B) consisting of links of diamine and dicarboxylic acid, the diamine units comprise 70 mol % or more of m-xylylenediamine units and a dicarboxylic acid units comprise 70 mol % or more units of α, ω-aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and from 0.005 to 0.05 by weight certain parts epoxy resin (C) containing styrene units represented by formula (c1), and glycidyl (meth) acrylate units represented by formula (c2) based on 100 parts by weight resin component. Shaped articles derived from mentioned composition, used in particular as packaging materials such as films, sheets, hollow containers.

EFFECT: obtain products with excellent gas tightness and high transparency.
