FIELD: solar power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises receiving solar energy flux and extracting the UV-component from the flux received to affect the liquid to be disinfected that flows along the region of concentration of the UV-component. The UV-component is concentrated by focusing it in the ring-shaped closed domain, and the density of UV-component is determined. The device comprises concentrator of UV-component of solar energy mounted on the load-bearing structure and hydraulic system made of circulation circuit of the liquid to be incinerated.. The circuit has fluid-operated pump connected to the control block, hollow cell for flowing liquid made of optically transparent material and mounted in the focal region of the concentrator, and control block connected with the system for tracing the Sun connected in series. The reflecting surface of the solar energy concentrator is defined by the W-shaped rotation body, and the closed hollow cell is ring-shaped, and its cross section is rectangular. The reflecting surface of the concentrator is defined by rotation of the arc of circumference with respect to the strait line parallel to the axis of symmetry of the circumference arc, or by rotation of the arc of parabola from the side of its top with respect to the strait line parallel to the axis of the parabola. The hollow cell is mounted on the pillars secured to the load-bearing structure. Two of the pillars are hollow, and hollow cell is connected with the circulation circuit through the spaces of two pillars. The cell receives the pressure-tight baffle. The ends of the hollow pillars are connected with the space of the cell from opposite sides of its pressure-tight baffle.
EFFECT: enhanced efficiency.
