FIELD: measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises loading the balance rollers of the balance system in four positions, determining the effective values of reactions of balance systems, and determining calibration coefficients as a ration of the values of reactions to these when balance systems are loaded by control weights. The calibration is performed when the conveyor operates under the load by additional loading of weight-receiving devices of the balance systems by reference weights. The multiplying factor of the adder is determined as the mean value of the multiplying factors of the weights of both balance systems that are equal to the ratio of the calculated mass of the material imitated by reference weight to the corresponding increment of the readings.
EFFECT: enhanced precision.
