FIELD: measuring equipment engineering, in particular, engineering of means for determining parameters of capacitive and resistor gages, used as indicators of various values, for example, temperature, humidity, pressure.

SUBSTANCE: in accordance to method for determining parameters of capacitive and resistor gages includes charging capacitive gage up to first given value of voltage through resistors of resistor gage and discharge resistor, duration of charge is measured and recorded, capacitive gage is discharged down to second given voltage value through resistance of discharge resistor, duration of discharge is measured and recorded, and sensor parameters are calculated from conditions of charge and discharge of capacitive sensor. Device for determining parameters of capacitive and resistor sensors contains charging and discharging keys of capacitive sensor, provided with control inputs, first circuit for comparing voltage levels, first source of supporting voltage, RS-trigger, computing block, second comparison circuit, second supporting voltage source, inverter, discharge resistor, all appropriately interconnected.

EFFECT: simplification of gage parameters determining process and expanded functional capabilities of existing method.
