FIELD: production of aromatized exploded tobacco vein, in particular, manufacture of smoking articles.

SUBSTANCE: method involves extracting basil using liquid carbon dioxide and separating miscella; moistening tobacco veins, impregnating with separated miscella and simultaneously increasing pressure; thereafter relieving pressure to atmospheric pressure value at the rate providing freezing of carbon dioxide absorbed as part of miscella; heating at heating rate providing dry distillation of carbon dioxide for obtaining of base product.

EFFECT: increased volume of aromatized tobacco vein.
