SUBSTANCE: method involves creating anastomosis of gastroepiploic artery to superficial femoral artery in the lower half of thigh. The micro-anastomoses are created in the lower half of thigh in the zone having no inflammatory superficial femoral artery wall changes. Then heparinization is carried out via cubital vein before cross-clamping and transecting gastroepiploic blood vessels. Then, the gastrocnemius muscle is subjected to garneting and an opening is formed. An omental tissue portion is brought through the opening and laid over medial shank part. The other omental tissue portion is placed near vascular fascicle in popliteal region. The next omental tissue portion is subfascially superficially arranged. The omentum embraces the shank from all sides with the exception of frontal surface to the talocrural articulation level. Without fixing omentum strands with ligatures.

EFFECT: facilitated microvascular anastomoses formation; reduced risk of thrombosis occurrence; excluded thin-walled gastroepiploic artery catheterization; enabled maximum degree omentomuscular contact.
