FIELD: plant growing methods.
SUBSTANCE: aim of invention is growing of seedlings and hothouse plants both in industrial scale and in personal auxiliary or farmer's economy. Expanded-clay land contains peat neutralized to pH 4.4-6.0, mineral fertilizers, and expanded clay. Expanded clay is used in non-ground form with size of unbroken granules 2 to 10 mm and its volume content is 60%. Original peat is screened to provide fraction with particle size 3-10 mm. Substandard expanded-clay may also be used, in particular expanded-clay production sweepings having density 250-600 kg/m3, which were preliminarily dedusted and fractioned.
EFFECT: enabled growing of seedlings and hothouse plants at minimum expenses on preparation of land plant management, improved water-air conditions allowing higher crops.
