FIELD: pump extraction of watery oil, possible use for preventing appearance of stable water-oil emulsions in down-pumps.
SUBSTANCE: in accordance to invention, device is proposed, which during successive influx of oil and water into pumping equipment in large enough alternating volumes makes it possible to prevent mixing thereof and appearance of stable high dispersion emulsions. As opposed to known device, stream switch is made in form of horizontal cylinder with inlet apertures in starting and end portions for feeding, respectively, oil and water, and central aperture for draining both phases. Inside the cylinder, three-section piston is positioned with receiving apertures for liquids in two edge sections, and middle section is made solid, while length of solid section of piston is equal to diameter of draining aperture of switch cylinder, and total length of piston is selected so that in extreme left or right positions of aperture of one of piston sections these coincide with one of intake apertures of cylinders, while apertures of other section coincide with outlet aperture of cylinder.
EFFECT: prevented appearance of stable water-oil emulsions in down-pumps.
