SUBSTANCE: invention relates to turbocompressor used for supercharging of internal combustion engines such as engines of heavy-weight dump trucks. Novelty is that insulation hood installed over gas intake housing containing profiled channel with connecting flanges. Said hood consists of thin-walled shells with fastening and supporting units, insulating member and protective screen.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved reliability, simplified diagnosing of condition and repair.
